In this paper, a mathematical model that considered the rate of antiretroviral drug therapy on hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection with a logistic growth, the immune response, the cure rate of an infected cells and a standard incidence function for the proliferation of the hepatocytes cells was developed. The results from the numerical simulations of the model shows that only 100% average usage of the antiretroviral therapy can guarantee a maximum number of healthy hepatocytes cells, a liver free from viruses and the absence of infected (unhealthy) hepatocytes cells from the liver.
